Mary Isis Solstice

Blessings of the winter to you all! I chanted and rattled the Sun down yesterday with some friends who were holding Yule Vigil last night. I joined the Vigil only in spirit, for my body said, very loudly, “SLEEP, dammit.” And so I did, sleeping through the longest night…

I am taking a bit of a break between now and the new year, so I’m going to do what so many columnists do: reruns! So I offer you today a post about Isis and the Virgin Mary, entitled Mary Christmas.
